audit on our company to identify materials and overheads where we are paying
excessive prices.
'Wouldn't It Be Good' to know that RMC can give us access to high-quality
supply sources that will save us enormous amounts of money every year from now
on.
'Wouldn't It Be Good' if RMC provided this service without charge, and
were only remunerated from a share of the savings they actually achieve
for us.
'Wouldn't It Be Good’ if RMC can achieve for us the
average savings they normally get of over10% of our total purchased cost base
(materials and overheads).
HOW ARE THESE
SAVINGS ACHIEVED?
Because RMC is part of the
CMR Group, it has access to the procurement expertise and buying power that
individual companies purchasing by themselves, simply cannot have.
HOW DOES THE
PROGRAMME WORK?
RMC will arrange for its
procurement experts to undertake a full ‘audit’ of the company’s purchasing
profile. A written report will be
produced identifying the purchasing changes that could be made, together with
an estimate of the annual cost savings achievable.
This report will be
discussed, and the company is not obliged to accept any of the recommendations
made by RMC.
For those changes agreed by
the company, RMC will provide help as required to implement any resourcing
involved.
HOW MUCH DOES
IT COST?
The straight answer is
NOTHING!
RMC’s remuneration comes
through having a 50% share of the cost savings actually achieved for a period
of two years.
The Company is not obliged
to use any of the suppliers recommended, but where it does, the cost save
sharing applies.
