The Savill Garden (The Royal Landscape) A CMR Executive introduced a project to develop a business plan for a visitor attraction garden near Windsor. The client – The Crown Estate – needed advice on future visitor potential and possible development / landscape restoration projects. The conclusions of that study and projections were accepted – the client then asked CMR to prepare a Project Plan. A small CMR team put together a fully budgeted plan, which was also accepted. The CMR executives became part of a wider team of industry specialists supporting the longer-term project management, systems development and marketing activities of the project. Each stage of the project was delivered on time and to budget. The site has now been re-branded ‘The Royal Landscape’ and its new visitor centre draws over 400,000 visitors per annum. www.theroyallandscape.co.uk
