Normally all CMR regional projects are managed and crewed by CMR
Full Members from that CMR Region. However, we always like to
give our clients access to the best expertise and advice we can, and
sometimes that will involve bringing non-CMR Full Members into the
project. This can happen in two ways:
1) If the CMR Regional Director or
CMR Project Manager (all CMR projects have a CMR Full Member
appointed as Project Manager) feels a need for additional resources
on a project, they will search the CMR Internal Member's Database on
CMR's Intranet to find the skills/experience sought. The
member(s) found in this way can be Full Members, RMC Associate
Members or CMR Affiliate Members.
2) All Full/RMC/Affiliate Members
have access to the CMR Overall Intranet which amongst many other
sections, enables them to review all the projects currently being
handled by all of CMR Regions. If they see a project of
particular interest where they believe they could make a positive
contribution, they are able to contact the appointed CMR Project
Manager to discuss further. This could result in them being
invited to join the project.
